Trivia on Thursday is so fun and I have been loving the Mulled wine for the holiday season , perfect for when you're sitting outside on a chilly night! I should have made this update already. As previously mentioned in my poor review, it was about the entertainment. The owner responded immediately to me and even provided me with right away with an apology. He was thoughtful and understanding. I went back and the experience, food and service were excellent. I truly appreciate an owner and staff that care and these folks really do. Also a great happy hour menu!!!! And always a lovely environment

That was damn good hummus! I know I know. I'm supposed to review the wine. But I figured there's so many reviews on ambience and wines and flights. You need someone to review the pairings. IMO the hummus was the best bang for your buck. At the time of this writing, the price was only $14. The pita was toasted. It was warm, buttery, and a little garlicky. The hummus was smooth. The lamb was decadent and hearty, which was cleverly cut by the sumac pickles. The Moroccan spices was an innovative pairing with shishito. Overall, the complexity was well thought out and offered a fun play on the palate. It was fun to use this variety of flavors as a backdrop against the variety offered in their flights. Because that what flights and pairings are all about - exploration, discussion, and play. We're definitely ordering the hummus again.

Came here last week with my work teammates for trivia on Thursday night. We had a blast! I started with a glass of their Full Moon, which was very good. Full bodied, but not heavy. I like a shiraz or peppery cab. Can't say this one was peppery, but it was up my alley. I later had a glass of the sangria. It's aptly described as juicy - but it differentiates from many other sangrias as not very fruity. Highly recommend sharing the solid oak sampler. The spreads, meat, cheeses, toppings, etc. were very good. Only complaint is double the amount of bread would be perfect because it was SO good. The warmed hummus with spiced lamb was also very good. The bread it came with was... again amazing. (I'm not a big lamb fan, so I ate around it). Patatas bravas weren't the best I've ever had. A little extra salt would've gone a long way. The calamari was so tasty and tender. Only knock was some bites had a ton of citrus squeezed over it and was almost puckery, and other bites didn't have any. Lastly, the burger is 12/10. So good. The service in the garden out back was so great and we really enjoyed sitting outdoors for trivia. Thanks, Pali Wine! Well done.

Been wanting to try this spot for awhile and glad that I did!! Cute vibes at a cute spot at the end of little Italy. We got the hummus with bits of lamb which was delicious! Wish there was more lamb in there we really only tasted a very small amount, but it was really yummy paired with the pickled onions. Our waiter was lovely & service was good. There's a DJ on Friday nights & live music Saturday so we'll be back for that :)

I've been going to the Pali Wine in SB for some time now, so when I was in SD for work I knew I had to check out this location. It's in a great spot right in the heart of Little Italy. Different vibe but still the same great atmosphere and wine. The service is great at both locations!

A cute establishment in Little Italy with exceptional wine Pros - even though the facade of this building looks small, there is an incredible amount of space including a backyard and an upstairs patio seating. Very friendly staff. We got their wine flights and had a wonderful time trying out all their wines. They also service small bites and dinner food that looks amazing Cons - can be a bit pricey Definitely a great place for hanging out and casual gatherings.

I've been there now two times for the comedy show on Wednesdays I love the show and the comedians are funny. It's awesome that it's a free show and no minimum purchase required. The last time I didn't do a review but this time the food was pretty good. They serve interesting options. Wish they had a flat bread or something, the patata brava is really good! The tuna tartar was pretty tasty, and I had the persimmon caprese with burrata and it was missing something not sure but it was an interesting taste. I liked the vegetarian options seem to taste good!
